We’ve presented at large conferences with hundreds of attendees through to intimate meetups with twenty people. And our ideas always spark a lot of discussion!

We've also developed a fun introduction to Lean Filmmaking featuring a case study with video content and time for Q&A.

This one-hour session can be delivered virtually or in-person if you’re located in Australia: Melbourne (Kylie) or Perth (David). We’ll consider traveling elsewhere if there’s an appropriate budget and pandemic restrictions allow. There are two versions, one for filmmakers and one for agile practitioners.

Bulk orders of our book, The Art of Lean Filmmaking, can also be purchased by organizers for event attendees.

We’re excited you’re interested in alternative filmmaking methods!

Unfortunately, we receive many requests for our time and can’t engage deeply with everyone right now. We encourage you to buy our book (or request it from your library) and read our blog, as these resources may answer your questions.

We offer scholarships to our online course, The Art of Lean Filmmaking, for people underrepresented in the screen industry, including those who are BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, disabled, neurodiverse, women or non-binary and those experiencing financial hardship. Film students who meet this criteria are welcome to apply:  [email protected].

We also participate in mentor programs and speak at screen industry events which are often free or discounted for students - see upcoming speaking gigs above.
